Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 August 2026
These terms apply when you ask Scrap My Caravan (scrapmycaravan.uk) to quote for or carry out caravan collection, dismantling or disposal. Booking a collection means you accept them.
What we do — and what we don't
We provide caravan scrapping, dismantling and disposal. We do not buy caravans, we do not move caravans between sites or pitches, and we do not sell parts. The only exception to buying: a caravan in genuinely good working order, year 2000 or newer, with no more than minor damp — rare, and always agreed explicitly in writing before collection.
Quotes
Quotes are prepared from the photos and details you send. Towable touring caravan collection is priced from £350–£450; tourers that cannot be towed safely are broken up on site or moved by tow bed from £500–£850; static caravans are dismantled on site from £1,800–£3,980. Your exact price depends on size, condition and access, and is confirmed before you book.
Your side of the deal: accurate photos
Your quote is only as good as the information behind it. Send clear photos of the caravan including any damage, and tell us about anything that affects collection — missing wheels, soft floors, rotten walls, difficult access. If the caravan turns out to be materially different from what you described, we may need to re-quote on the day or decline the collection.
Booking
We are heavily booked most weeks. Quotes are open for acceptance for 7 days; booking within 24 hours gives you the best chance of a prompt collection date. A deposit may be required to secure a date — we will always tell you before you pay, and our blog explains why we ask for it.
On the day
You must have the right to dispose of the caravan and, where it stands on a park or private land, permission for us to access and remove it. Someone should be contactable on the day. Waste-transfer paperwork is completed as part of the collection.
Cancellation
If you need to move or cancel a booked collection, tell us as soon as you can. Where costs have genuinely been incurred — a crew en route, plant hired for a dismantle — we may retain the portion of any deposit that covers them; otherwise deposits are returned.
Liability
We carry out collections with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to the caravan (it is being scrapped) or for surfaces that cannot reasonably bear the weight of recovery equipment, provided we have exercised reasonable care. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Complaints and contact
Anything wrong, tell us: 07758 153074, seven days a week — or see our complaints procedure.
